How to Get the Perfect Hotel Room for You?
I once indulged in a girl service in Kuala Lumpur back in the day and since I have guests, I want the perfect hotel room for me and them. That being said, my preference was a big and cozy room that has all of the amenities that I needed.
The perfect hotel room for you will also be like that. It has everything that you need and want in a room which is why this article is focused on getting you the best possible hotel room that will suit your needs.
Determine Your Preferences
Your idea of the perfect room should be one that satisfies all of your needs. If you are on a business trip, you would want a room that has a spacious desk that allows you to do all of your work beforehand.
If you are with some guests (as is in my case), you would want a spa tub or anything that will make you and your guests’ experience amazing.
You have to determine what your preferences are right off the bat so that you can narrow down your options immediately.
Now I know that you are the customer in this case and you might think that you can just shout at the hotel staff because they didn’t have what you have ordered, but do not be like this.
Even though you are a paying customer, being prompt and kind to the hotel personnel can go a long way. For instance, if you are friendly to the hotel staff, they will usually reciprocate your kindness.
And, if you are already a frequent customer in the same hotel, you will be given additional perks that are not available for others.
A friend of mine once told me that by just smiling at the hotel staff when you go in and out of the premises, they will not only greet you but they will also ask if you need anything right off the bat. This may be a small gesture in the grand scheme of things but it really adds up to your overall experience.
As a customer, it is your right to ask specific questions to the hotel staff so that your experience will be worthwhile during your stay.
For instance, if you are looking for a nice place to stay without all of the noise, then you can ask questions like if there is a wedding or some other huge function in the hotel or something like that.
Although there are some hotels that are privy to those types of questions, there are some that would be delighted to give you the information that you need. Do not be afraid to ask questions and make it specific at that.
Request for Additional Amenities
There are some hotels that would allow you to add some few amenities. For instance, I’ve requested bath salts before and initially, I thought that it was part of the stuff I am paying for. But, to my surprise, I was actually charged about $15 for that.
If you are going to request for additional resources, do ask the front desk if the additional stuff requires additional payment.
